NOTE

Professional Drivers who are licensed with a CDL-A are unable to drive after 70 hours on duty in 7/8 consecutive days. A driver may restart a 7/8 consecutive day period after taking a 34-hour reset or more consecutive hours off duty. Drivers Choice - this is the way. This 90-hour pattern method repeated all year long is high-level "reasonable" MAXIMAL production that can even be further optimized.

NOTE

I am a Licensed-Insured Freight Broker/Carrier, which means I have Dual Authority. All I need is the vehicle's VIN for insurability estimates after the deposit reservation, thereafter payments are made on all the quotes. At 7 years, ~3200 miles weekly average, churns $3.5 million dollars of truck revenue and nets $1.5-$2 million to the Driver's NET PROFIT, after taxes. For any NEW Truck & Trailer, the total coverage could be around $40,000 per year which comes out to $3,333.33 per month. If one does not claim physical damage in their insurance policy one you could save 10 grand, however. Add an ELD system in the truck and insurance will give a 12% discount on annual cost, EDLs are federally mandated & required. The only way to lower the cost of insurance is once you reach your third year in business with the insurance carriers, they decide to lower the cost of your insurance. Insurance works by zip code in terms of sales tax. If the individual can’t cover the whole package, 20% down is required. When any individual goes to purchase any new model equipment insurance will be high. For Semi Trucks & Trailers these types of coverages are common and required: Uninsured/underinsured Motorist, General Liability, Comprehensive, Collision, Body Injury Liability, Ramp, tarp, binder, and chain, Storage, and towing, Combined deductible, Unloading, and loading, Debris removal, Earned freight, Sue and Labor and Loss mitigation. The average cost of insurance per truck yearly is around $37,460 collectively; the cost after a down payment is typical $3,328.76 per month. These estimates are again for one truck and one driver. Bulk ordering is discountable depending on drivers/companies' safety scores, insurance companies, internal marketing, and offers to customers/clients.
